Denzil Patrick
I am skimming through the London Fashion Week Runaway glimpses quite late. The first brand that caught my eye was The Denzil Patrick by CD Daniel Gayle. He created a throbbing hot emeraldesque stylish Spring/Summer 2025 collection. What I liked about this is the colour and how well the suits were hemmed. One jumpsuit captured the athletic wear and the Shirt with a rough crisp collar elevated the look. The platform sandals were quite comfy and white. I loved the intricate fine prints on the long-sleeved full jumpsuit. The floral patterns really looked quite good and could dictate the 2025 season too.
Anything about sustainability: Yes, they straight up mention sustainability under their core values. That makes me happy! 10/10
QASIMI
It is back! This time infused with the visual expressions offered by Kambui Olujimi. With his visual art and this cool collaboration, the label has surely revived. The silhouettes are quite pleasant and flowy when you first see them. It is very dune-like and if possible Dennis V should collaborate with this designer.
Anything about sustainability: Haven’t heard anything on this yet! The brand states it nowhere. If you know anything, let me know!
LOVERBOY
Charles Jeffrey, with his decade-old experience, is here to serve! Shirts were enveloped with soft-hued half-sleeved hoodies. The beanies with sailor-like shoes were delightful to see. The keyword “sailor, ocean, port fashion” jumps out to me post seeing this SS25 collection.
Anything about sustainability: Global Organic Textile Standard certified cotton, recycled plastic, aims to reduce chemicals too. This was mentioned in 2020 and I am not sure if this is still blended in the brand ethos. Enlighten me!
Pitti Uomo did well in putting out the vision for upcycled menswear.
It seems to me like only the LFW Men’s SS20 was screaming SUSTAINABILITY on top and now it doesn't.
